Default Stereo

I have a couple of questions. I bought subs and since the stereo doesn't have a set of rca plugs i also bought the adapter. I need to know how you take out the stereo in order to connect the remote wire. If anyone knows please tell me.

Start by opening your glove box, once you have it opened gently pull on the corner of the carbon trim piece it should pop out fairly easy. Then just continue popping the other fasteners towards the steering wheel.(theres about 5 to 6 fasteners) After that there are two screws (far left and right) then it just pulls right out....

***IF YOUR INSTALLING A SUB/AMP YOU NEED A "LINE OUTPUT CONVERTER" *** Check out Ebay I think I paid a whole $6.71.... Money well spent.....

Sorry man I meant to reply but then got side tracked.

As for removing Blunden has the basics down. There are (I think) five tension clips holding teh dash strip, and one hook. The hook is the important part because if you do what Blunden said you run the risk of snapping it off. So open the glove box, hold the far right of the strip against the dash (so the hook doesn't pop loose) and then starting at the left of the glovebox grab the dash strip and pull towards the back of the car to release the clips above the box. Once those are loose gently flex the strip to disengage the hook. Then pull back on the left side of the strip to release the last clip.
