thanks again jaimie08mazda3. i'm going to the dealer's tomorrow, but since it sounds like this is normal for a mazda, it's unlikely they'll be able to do anything. i spoke with two people at head office today and they said they'd never heard of this problem, butclearly itseems to exist. but i'm glad to hear the smell was reduced after two months in your case.

thanksLPG. did you do anything special to help clear out the smell, or did it justfade away on its own? a few time i've tried leaving the windows open for awhile and that seems to help temporarily, but once the windows areclosed the smell has returned. It's only 9 days, so hopefully itwill fade soon.

i didnt have to do anything special it just fades over time
i was just leave your windows cracked as much as possible.
Doing, that it made fade out even sooner than 3 weeks..
