suggestion on brake rotors and pads ?
#2
Hi Mark,
Power Slot is a trusted name in the community, however, I'm not familiar with Power Stop?
Power Slots are usually much more expensive than that... on the order of $600/set of 4 rotors. I'm guessing that Power Stop is a chinese brand trying to take advantage of Power Slots reputation?
To tell you the truth, if you are not racing the car, but would just like drilled or slotted rotors for looks, eBay is a good place to shop... and at much cheaper prices. But expect more noise than from OE style rotors. Sometimes its kinda' cool while other times a little embarrassing.
I am currently running EBC Green Stuff pads which after much research seem to be the least aggressive in terms of rotor wear, certainly less than the Hawk pads. They stop just fine, but I am having a problem with intermittent squeal that I have yet to solve with them, so I don't know if I could recommend them either.
