Ok, this might be a dumb question, but is there any way that I can buy a sunroof and get it installed to my 2006 mazda3? I bought my car new a year ago and did not have the money to install one, but now that it's nice out...i regret my decision and really want one. I've looked on my dealer website and on the mazda website and numerous aftermarket websites and all they offer is a moonroof which you need when you buy the car. I have seen sunroofs on other mazda3's so I know that it is possible, I just cant seem to find out how to get one. Please let me know if anyone has any info for me...thanks!!

 

just find a shop that does custom work and ask them to fit one up for you. you should be able to find a local body shop that will do it.

 

Yup, you need to find a local custom shop. Depending on your area they may be pretty plentiful. I'd start with body shop and go from there as they might have some names for you to check out. Make sure you get one that comes with a good warranty as aftermarket sunroofs are notorious for leaking. doesn't mean they all will, but you get the picture.

 

I also forgot to ask if anyone has any idea how much it would cost? I would like to know before I get ripped off by some bodyshop....thanks sooo much!!
