Just to let anyone interested I was also able to bring bring up the hidden trip computer readings on my 2007 s touring by holding the am/fm and c/d button down while turning the ign. the accessory position. This worked fine.

And then how did you get it to display any info. I did that and it said DIS ON. But then how do you get the information to actually display? It just goes to the radio info.

Just push the set button and it will give you the readings. Pushing the clock button will return it to the clock time.

Mazda figured out, probably from spying on forums like this one, that their secret had been found out.(<<< My opinion.)They eliminated the "unlock" mode on the 2008 and later models. To get it now, you have to buy a GT.

I have an 04 where the driver information system has never been available. I don"t miss it. There use is limited anyway, imo. A toy or gimmick.
