Default Trunk Emblems?

Hey guys, I would like to find out if there are holes behind the badges in the hatchbacks trunk door, or whether they are glued on? I would love to take them off but dont know whats quite behind them.

No have'nt done so and won't be either. But it sounds like a logical situation. For some reason to me it makes sense to have them stuck on, but that middle Mazda emblem on the back being attacthed differently. Maybeit's a hunch or maybe i fear it would have better to design it with maybe posts that went through, with the curve in that area. I say ask mazda, becasue they can order every single peice of the car, and have schematics for parts and or areas. That's how i identified a vacuum sensor on the protege5. But also i'm still not sure which emblem you want off, so be clear.

Hey All, I have an 04 mazda 3 hatchback and removed the side moldings and the 2.3 emblems, those were fine as they had no holes. Now the mazda emblem on the rear hatch in the middle DOES have 2 holes. What you can do is use 2 led lights that you would normally use for your alarm ( usually put in the front windshield when the alarm is armed) and silicone them in (LIGHTLY) . Now you have led lights blinking in the fron and the rear of the car .
