Default Turbo manifold

long time no see for a lot of you on here and its been a while since i've posted. Two questions. Are any FMU's available not through haltech? And that are easily programmable. my second question is do they they actually make a turbo manifold seprate from any kit made? Obviously, like most of us don't want to spend 4g's on a kit so i'm lookin the piece one together.

I'm really asking about the FMU's because whether turbo or stock you and increase a bit from a stand alone.

Nothing to Gawk at really. little pricey if you ask me, most of that stuff is. Adrenaline motor sports next town over can build one for about $250 and no different from any other cast manifold you see out there ebay or not. chrome isn't worth an extra 250 when its just going to discolor anyway from the heat.

(minus the different materials used)

actually the one i was referring to cost 650, gotta look under the speed 3 section. When it comes to FI going the cheap route is a very bad idea...u dont have honda, besides id rather spend the green and get something that i know will work and last, rather than going to get a custom one built that will take a long time to get done and possibly be without a car while they do test fits also i pretty sure it costs more than 250 for a custom mani.

whatever you do dont go with greddy, for some reason they just dont work with our cars, alot of boosted ppl have had a frustrating time with there stand alone only to go with haltech, but aem has now got stand alone system for us

Yeah, AEM is a pretty trusted brand when it comes to proformance. I wonder if there are many reviews on in yet and the cost difference between the both.

I'm worrying about boosting later when i get some more money but honestly i'm finding the stand alone to be the most expensive thing ~$500-600 non tuned.

Even i decided to just do the stand alone with out boosting would i really need bigger injectors? I've seen some videos of people just having those and fine tuning them to get some extra HP/tq.

You can get a standalone and start messing with it all motor, but i can guarantee that would be highly disappointed w/o any major mods including injectors, also you have a 2.0 atx (yeah i made the mistake of getting one too).

As for price im pretty sure the AEM one is going to be a little cheaper but the Haltech will have more tuning parameters.
