Mazda3 Offered in both a sedan and wagon, this sporty model offers a great car for the family, as well a fun track car.

What cars can we beat with the 2 liter?

i have a Mazda 3 06 2.0 all i did was put a k&n cold air intake in. The car can deal with some others.
I was on 95 coming off an ramp and I passed a Nissan SER in 3rd gear at 50ish 5k-rpms. I think i pissed the guy off because he started chasing me to get in front of me. This went on for a few miles on the highway at one point we both trying to get in front of each other.
We changed lanes a lot first he was front then me it was pretty fun i say on sharp turns i could accelerate and pull ahead better then a Nissan SER. i think it was a 98 tuned of course.
Also at a red light i tried a Subaru WRX. I got totally toasted i looked like a Pansy even trying. the WRX had dual exhaust and was way ahead of me in a few sec's. i would of stood a better chance if i had a eupraged (edit?) exhaust with a turbo in it.

We are getting into Street Racing territory here, Guys. I worried about that coming up in this thread before as by nature of the OP's question, it has always been on the edge.

Let it be known that MazdaForum.com does not promote or condone street racing.
It's illegal.
It's dangerous.
It can get you, your opponent or worse yet, innocent bystanders killed, maimed or seriously injured.
It can get you arrested, or in Canada, your car impounded and destroyed.
And its dumb.

Save it for the auto-x courses and race tracks people. Keep it off the streets and off this board.
Thanks.

Not much on corners though....
Nice!! I like the sense of humor.
That comment goes along with the old saying, the Model "T" is the fastest car on earth (thanks largely to very tall gearing)... for the first five feet.
