probably a dumb question.......is there a 6th lug in the center of my rear wheels? How do i get the center "plug" out? Thanks.

i know on a lot of other stock OEM rims, that center piece just pops out. you have to use a little force and it should come out, ive seen it done when my brother had his tires replaced. not sure how the mazda rims are, but chances are it just pops out.

Take the wheel off and pop it out from the back side. The handle of a mallet works fine.

There is no sixth lug in the center of your wheel.

I assume you're having a hell of a time getting the wheel of with all 5 lugs removed. Using a rubber mallet, beat the hell out of the tire from left to right, this should break the grip of the wheel to the studs. (You get corrosion between them over time and they tend to get real tight.)

Ahhhhh, it all seems so simple now. i didn't think they would've put a sixth lug. thanks for the tips.
