Hey everybody. Thanks for the help. The 16's aparently have a 50mm offset as well. Unfortunately the guy selling me the rims got the size wrong and they are 15's.... thanks for letting me know they won't fit.
Now I need to find some wheels and tires.

I just checked the Mazda USA site and even now the 3i Sport comes std w/15" steel wheels and covers, while the 3i Touring Value comes w/17" alloys?
The only listing for 16"s is the 3s Sport.

Again, Tire Rack has steel wheel/winter tire packages. They may have one w/16"s to fit your car.
And yes, I do understand that 16"s are better than 17"s for snow tires. So are skinnier tiresvs. fatter ones. Stay w/a 185 or 195 if possible
