Default Wheels for Speed 3

Am thinking about getting some wheels for my silver MS3. Looking at the Motegi Traklite's 19" with 225/40/19's. Can the MS3 take 19" wheels and 225 series tires w/out rubbing? Also any other wheels that you would recommend? Thanks. Link below.

With a 19" wheel you need to be looking at a 225/35R19, the 40 series won't fit.

19's will fit in there!?!?! Heh. Cool Dill Pickle. They look goof and on a lighter car to me dark rims are a safe choice. I was going to reccomend the 's untill i blew up the pick to find annoyingly, that they have useless stud styling or whatever you'd call it around the circumfrence. Not to mention they weigh 30 freakin pounds! I'm partial to lighter rims and also thicker ones but I see them befitting a cosmic blue.

Heres the link to them, I don't want to start a link war but now that i think about it I'm really just showing the studthing i mentioned. heh

I have a black car, and I think they would look sweet on it too.

Thanks for the offer, but I always keep my stock wheels. I won't probably won't get new wheels for a couple more months anyway.

19's should fit with the tire size above assuming the width/offset of the wheel is correct. Optimal is 7.5" width and a 52.5mm offset (According to the Mazdaspeed engineers I've discussed this with doing tire clearance studies.)

I'll end up running the RX-8 wheels and 225/40R18's I have and rolling the fenders a little in the rear to clear them. (18x8) I personally think 18's are the biggest wheel that looks right on this car.....

Change of plans for the wheels on my MS3. After looking around a bunch I have decided on the Enkei RP03's in 18 x 7.5. Recommended tire size for the wheels is 225/40/18. My question is will the 40 series tires offer a noticeable visual difference, with regards to a smaller sidewall height, in comparison to my stock wheels/tires? I don't want a huge gap between my tires and fender, or tires that look too small for the car. Thanks for any advice. Here's a link with some pics of the wheels on an RX8.

225/40R18's should be perfect for a 3 (depending on the offset of the rim...) I've seen a ton of people running that combo on regular 3's. The Speed3 should be even better with the flared fenders.

225/45R18's don't fit on my 3 (at least not mounted on RX-8 18x8 wheels, not sure of the offset)
