I have an 08 Mazda 3 - occasionally I get a LOT of condensation on the inside of the windshield. Takes several minutes of defrost to clear it. I know that this can happen in the summer with windows left down overnight, but this is during winter months when windows are closed. There is no consistent weather or other circumstances....I drove to work on Saturday (no problems) but when I left 3 hrs later the windshield was very wet and fogged up on the inside. ANy ideas????

 

it happens. when i used to work weekends. this would happen. either it could be you left the window open a crack or it ended up being a reall cold day without it snowing. other then that i dont think there would be any other issues really

 

Warm air on the inside of the car VS the cold air on the outside with you possibly running the defrost before shutting it off you will/could cause inside condensation
