Winter tire
Hello,
First of all i'm not speaking english mainly. Sorry if i make a lot of grammatical errors. I got my first car ever and it's a mazda 3 gs-sky 2014 (hatchback). I need to change the tire for the winter and i got 205/60r16 for summer right now. My father want to give me brand new 215/60r16 winter tire but i dont know if the tire will fit on my car for this winter. I know for the winter it's better to have smaller like 195 but i'm freaking poor right now.
thank you.

Unless your tire is currently maxing out for your rim size, which is unlikely, going from 205 to a 215 is no problem. While running an all season tire the skinnier tire is typically preferred you are only changing 10mm which again isn't something to be concerned with. Any winter tire is going to be much better in winter performance compared to a summer tire.
