hi guys, IM in U.K., i would like to know how does it feel owning a MAZDA 2.0D SPORT NAV with LUXURY PACK? i already ordered my one but the soonest delivery is in NOVEMBER OR DECEMBER, i can't wait for it and getting too excited. IM COUNTING THE DAYS? does anyonehave anyREGRET aboutYOUR 2008 mazda 5?

If yours is Galaxy Grey it'll be identical to mine. We've had it since March, done 5500 miles and still love it. Averaging around 45mpg, 500+ miles to the tank. It's quiet, doesn't handle too badly and the tyres seem to be wearing evenly. The only thing which peeves me a bit is Mazda didn't pay the subs for the TMS to work on the SatNav and as far as I know there's no way of getting it to work. The SatNav on my phone has TMS and that cost £45! You also have to watch the SatNav doesn't send you on a long detour intsead of telling you U-turn. There's probably a setting for that I just haven't found it yet. Overall it's a great car and I have no regrets, I miss my RX8 which the 5 replaced but that was getting silly to run with fuel and road tax.

Galaxy grey is good color! but i placed an order with a metallic sunlight silver. the only reason is, if ever i got some few stonechips ( which is unavoidable) it will be unnoticeable. i only saw mazda 5 sport with luxury pack in my dealer but not with navigation on it. and havent seen the one with sat nav in actual car, only in the mazda link. i live in feltham. whereabout are you? cant really wait for my one! thanks again!

 

You'll be pleased with SatNav. The screen looks great and flips over to load CDs. All the audio set up is displayed on the screen together with the RMS and CD info. The parking camera is a bit gimmicky but works well and has it's uses. I'm in Bucks.
