Default Cargo net configurations

Guys,

I'm about to pick up a Mazda5 and have a question about the cargo net that goes in the back.

It appears that the net hooks to the floor then up to the hooks on the rear of the third row seats. I can see this being useful even when the thrid row seats are laid flat as well but my wife asked this.....What if the third row seats are laid flat and you want to hook the net across the opening so when you open the hatch stuff wont come falling out? Can you attach the net vertically across the back with the third row laid flat? Seems like there should be hooks near the tail lights(inside the car obviously). Or are they there already??

Craig
