Default Replace dome lamps

I'm trying to figure out how to change out the bulbs in the dome light (right above the rear view mirror) on a 2010 M5. I've looked all around it and I'm not sure how it comes out and I don't feel like putting a lot of pressure on it. Does anyone know how it comes out? I've also checked out the manuals but I can't seem to find it. Thanks!

Have an 08 sport model here with standard mirror. Not sure myself but will find out for you. Do you have the "home link" mirror with compass and auto dimming?

As a matter of fact, yes. It has the homelink mirror. Hopefully that shouldn't make things an issue.

I have an '08, you just pull the whole housing down from the headliner. Unplug the wire and it's easier to work with. You change the bulb from the back side of the housing. I replaced all the lights with LED. Lot's more light at night.
