Default Replacing boot/trunk lid ?

Hi guys, just bought a 2005 premacy. The vehicle came with an extensively damaged boot lid. The problem is that the damaged door has a built-in spoiler and the replacement door does not. The body work guy says that the 'shocks' on the van do not line up with the new lid. They need to replaced with a shorter ones. He also says the lid can be opened, but will not close in the present configuration. Does anyone know what he's talking about, and if yes, can the current on be modified to take the new spoilerless lid, or can they be sourced.

Thanks[/align]

Hopefully enclosed (i've never done this before) is a PDF of the rear door entry dimensions for the Mazda 5. If you compare to those of your Premacy now you will see that they match or don't match. If they don't sourcing a new orused correct tailgate/lid for your Premacy is the easier option. I don't have a Premacy manual. If I can't attachPDF send your e-mail address, I am in the UK waiting for a new Mazda 5 to be delivered.
Does anyone have instructions to add PDF's or to convert a PDF into an image?
