Hi

zoom zooming around Newport South Wales in my 1.8 TS2. Had its recall work done and the front anti roll bar bushes replaced, damn it feels like a new car again. 12K on the clock and due for its 1st service.

Trying to find a decent bike carrier for it now, or even a tow bar and a bike carrier as they seem to offer better rigidity and security, any ideas?

Cheers guys

Mentalmazda - Ive just used the £50 strap on bike carrier from halfords - worked fine for me - 150m to the lakedistrict too.

We used a Pendle on the back of our Berlingo - it really is the premium choice. Fortunately I only had to borrow it as they're over £150 for a two bike rack and more than £200 for a 4 bike. Plus the cost of a towbar if you haven't already got one.

Fantastic, have had a look at this model in Halfords, their staff weren't too sure about it fitting the 5 so to avoid my pride and joy from being scratched I left.

For £50 it sounds like a worthwhile deal if as you say it works...

I don't have a tow bar fitted and would like to try and avoid the additional expense, but many thanks Terry1100

Once again many thanks this will keeps the kids from chewing my ears.

I'd be a bit "iffy" about any tailgate fitting as the tailgate is plastic.
