Spare Parts for my Mazda 5 TS2 1.8 2005.
Hi Guys,
First off, hello to all and please be kind as this is my first post on this forum.
I want to do a simple service to the car. Oil filter, air Filter, plugs etc.. However, most of the local car shops including Halfords don't seem to stock the bits I need.
Is there anywhere on-line that is a good place to get this stuff?
Many thanks
Matt
P.S. do you also know if anyone has done a good step-by-step guide on this type of thing? I know my way around a car's engine, but just want to know if there's anything I need to look out for which may cause an issue.

Euro car parts or GSF is where i tend to pick service parts up from.
I use Castrol Magnatec oil (as do my Mazda main dealer) just make sure its the right grade. Keep an eye out for special offers as Halfords & Europarts quite often sell it for around £18

Ggsumo, have you tried the small shops in Bury Park? I used to get everything I needed for our old Daewoo there. If the shop doesn't stock it they have a cousin or uncle that does, and they get you the parts in 1 hour. I found A to Z spares to be quite good (almost opposite Selbourne road) and Ajay weren't half bad either (the other side of the bridge going towards Leagrave).
They would always charge about 80-90% of GSF or ECP prices. Well worth trying if you're local.
Edit: And yes, laugh if you will, I was one of the Schmucks who bought a Daewoo. Worst car we've ever owned, including the Pugs
