03 Mazda 6i keeps blowing the room fuse
I pulled the passenger sunvisor off accidentally (trying to fix its loose problem by inserting a zip tie) and the two wires in side the visor are disconnected from the circuit. I guess they the two wires shorted so the room fuse (15A) in the fuse block next to the driver left foot was blown (attached and other fuses are good) so that the interior lights, power windows, power door lock, radio, clock, temperate display, etc. don't work anymore and the gauge cluster goes crazy, e.g., trip meter will be reset (engine and exterior lights work fine). I already put the wires back to the visor by folder them into different length so that we won't connect again (however, I am not sure if they become touching each other again when I put the visor back to it's base).
I searched the Internet and found interior lighting, radio, p. door locks not working - Mazda 6 Forums : Mazda 6 Forum / Mazda Atenza Forum which shows to replace the room fuse can potentially fix the problem (I checked 100A fuse in the fuse block under the hood by a multimeter and it seems good) , however, I bought Littelfuse Blister Pack 15 Amp MINI Fuse (https://www.oreillyauto.com/detail/b.../4414580?pos=2, attached) and replaced the room fuse but it's blown right away.
I measure the resistance at the two end of the socket where the room fuse is and it reads about 200 Ohms.
Can anyone give advises? Do I need to solder the two wires of the visor back to the circuit on the visor behind its vanity mirror? Or I can totally disconnect the wires from its base (I think there's a socket for connection inside the top right corner of the car)? Appreciated!
