Default 18 x 8?

Hey, my friend just got a job with Foose design team and he said he could get me a major discount. Since I have wanted to put rims on my 6s for about a year now. I was looking at Foose and I want 18s but the rims they make in 18s none of the ones I like come in 18 x 7.5 they come in 18 x 8 or bigger. Therefore, I was wandering if these would work, if I roll the finders or if they would work without any modifications. Also I was wandering what kind of 18" tires would you recommend. I live in Cincinnati so we get snow every year.
Thanks,
Mike

I'm currently running 18x8 RX-8 wheels (not sure of the offset) with 225/45R18 tires on my wife's Mazda6 wagon. I haven't experienced any rubbing issues.

Mmmmmmmm....Foose.

18x8 should fit. ull jus need to go with 235/40/18 tires

im gettin some 19' rims soon . these MB chrome 5 spokes
its 19x8, so ill need 235/35/19 rubber to wrap it. the mazda6's hav a VERY LARGE offset ( +55mm) meaning the wheel is mounted very far from the central axis. very few rims can fit.

heres a very useful site to calculate diamater, offset, mounting room, etc

FYI....stock offset on the Mazda6 is +60mm. I've got the print for the wheel sitting on my desk at work.

I had a tough time finding rims to fit with the 60mm offset; pity because the ones i had fitted looked sweet but rubbed more than Aladdin on his lucky night.

I've been told that the best bet is max width of 7.5" and around 48-52mm offset. (goes for any diameter rim, you just need to adjust the tire size to keep the overall outer diameter the same as stock.

For tires, I'd just go with a good 'all-weather' tire. For the correct sizing for jumping to 18's, check this cool calculator out. It'll keep your speedo and tire height/diameter equal to stock:
