2000 Mazda 626/Capella P0758 shift solenoid B electrical
Hello Everyone!
I got problem on 2000 Mazda 626/Capella and it comes up as "P0758 shift solenoid B electrical" on diagnostic scanner. So far I tried to remove gearbox oil pan, take off solenoids and test resistance on all of them. All resistance readings are within range specified in workshop manual. Also, tried to put 12V on all solenoids and all of them are clicking. Checked resistance on the harness going from solenoids themselves to the connection on the gearbox housing, readings seems to be ok, all similar. Not sure what action to take next... Should I start opening up wiring loom from ECU to gearbox and look for faults there or could it be faulty ECU? Could it also be that Solenoid B is still faulty even i it clicks and shows good resistance? At the moment I putted car back together and it still drives the same, without any changes. HOLD light flashing on dashboard and I think it got 2 gears (probably) and it makes a good sort of banging when you come to stop and it changes down, however when it changes up (from 2nd to 3rd or 4th, not sure...) its ok....
Would really appreciate any help!
Thanks in advance!
