Default 2004 6 takin off the grille

When I take the screws out of the top of the grille that are attached to the car, should the grille just pop out because when i try to take it out it feels as if it is still connected somewhere but i cant figure out where?

It is still connected at the bottom of the grill with little clips. if you slide your hand under the bottom of the grill from the engine compartment side you should feel them. I believe they are attached to the bumper, and they should slide right out with some GENTLE pulling, and by depressing the clips at the same time.

Be careful...those clips can break pretty easily.

I havent had anytime to try it yet, but how should i pull the clips out. Should i press on them, pull them upward, or try to slide them out?

You should be able to see the clips with a flashlight. I believe you push down on the center of the clip, then push the clip tower towards the front of the car. It's been awhile, but I believe there were 4 clips, 2 on each side along the bottom.
