I am purchasing the AUDIOLink for my 2004 Mazda 6 and it says I need to solder the L716 metal contacts by placing some solder between the two joints on the factory radio before installing the mp3 into the cd changer port for it to work.
I'm not sure what Wattage soldering iron I will need for this?
I'm thinking 30-45 Watts should be good does this seem correct, and am I right in assuming by soldering it the two L716 contacts need to be connected by solder?
