2014 Mazda 6 Project

I purchased the GT in reflex blue and am having a difficult decision as to whether I want to black out emblems and trim and buy black wheels. Or if I should stick to the color scheme and continue with chrome trim. What are your guys thoughts on the best route with the blue?
By the way monkee, fantastic job so far on your 6. It looks outstanding and extremely tasteful. Props to you and keep up the good work.

Italian soft tuning
Hi there, I'm new to the forum and to be honest I joined just to say congratulations to Monkee for the excellent job he did on his Mazda6.
It was almost a month I was looking for 2014 Mazda6 (both sedan or touring) with aftermarket wheels/rims (don't know how to say it in English) from the original 17' and 19' available here in Italy.
As I was evaluating to buy the Mazda6 Touring red or white in the “Evolve version” (it lacks of Vision Assist Pack, 19' wheels, Bose Audio System, Rear Cam, MRCC, FOW, SBS, DRSS and Manual Transmission), I was really disappointed about the awful 17' wheels with Bridgestone Turanza T001 225/55R17 it is equipped. The is not even the possibility to swap to the pretty nice but not gorgeous 19' wheels with Bridgestone Turanza T001 255/45R19 (anyway the oddest size you can find in Italy...).
Therefore I was thinking to buy nice 18' wheels with a much more standard 225/45R18 tyres. The issue is that I'd like to choose some JDM style wheel to maintain the amazing look this car has.
Any suggestion? In Italy aftermarket is just for “hard tuners” and items availability is low.
I was thinking about Enkei J10, Enkei Ammodo, Rays Volk TE37 white (just in case I buy white car) and the stunning Work XT7.

Hey, guys. It's been a while. Thank you for the good words. The shots above were done about a month ago and now I'm at a good resting point. I have finally made the decision NOT to lower my 6. But I am in the search for more power.
To answer the last few replies in order:
-Future mod list is listed above.
-As I've gotten older, I like the chrome. I would maybe do a black chrome by airbrushing black tint on the chrome. I just think flat black trim looks cheap or like a 90's Accord. I blacked out my front emblem(huge difference) and deleted the rear all together.
-My vote is for Work XT7. I love the look of this wheel.
As always, when it comes mods...do what makes you happy.

Yes, it is a GT. Ralph at SWR Motorsports sourced out there nickle sized LEDs and they are thin as a nickle. They are fully replaceable with connectors in the wiring. It is wired to the old trunk light wiring and the manual switch was added to an existing hole. It works automatically or I can turn it off if I don't want my valuables illuminated at night...I move some valuable stuff sometimes. It cannot be seen from the outside and lights up the whole trunk. I'll get a pic off the LEDs at night and post it tonight.
I also just decided to paint the engine cover to match the exterior. Rustoleum white high temp spray paint and 3 coats later, it's done. It's a nice flat white, too. Colors come in white, black, red, grey, almond and silver.

A lot of effort for something that no one will ever see, lol. It's exactly what the center console is missing and needed. It's from a 2012 Mazda 3 cut down 3/4" and sanded for fit. JB weld and it's done. $16 from the dealer...I need to stop with this cal, already!

I might be asking a dumb question here, but from the pic, I really can't tell what that is in the center console.
