Default 2015 Grand Touring - Tech Package or Not?

I am a long time Mazda owner (only Mazda!) since 1986. It is time for another new one and we've had Mazda 6's (626, etc.) since 86'.

I am looking at the grand touring.

There is a tech package upgrade from the Touring tech package.

Is this worth the extra $$? Or, am I signing up for "more to go wrong" and the bang for the buck is not worth the extra $$?

Here is the run down:

Touring Moonroof Package

-Power sliding-glass moonroof with one-touch-open feature and interior sunshade
- Bose®*Centerpoint Surround Sound system with AudioPilot®*2 and 11 speakers (including subwoofer)
-SiriusXM Satellite Radio with 4-month trial subscription

Touring Technology Package (requires Moonroof Package)

-*Mazda*navigation system
- Smart City Brake Support***
- Auto on/off headlights
- Rain-sensing windshield wipers
- Auto-dimming driver's side mirror
- Heated side mirrors
- Auto-dimming rearview mirror with Homelink®

This is what you get in addition with the Grand Touring:
GT Technology Package

-*Mazda*Radar Cruise Control‡‡‡
- Forward Obstruction Warning System‡‡‡
- i-ELOOP regenerative engine braking
- Lane Departure Warning System†††
- Active Grille Shutters
- Sport Mode Button
- High Beam Control
Opinions?

Thanks in advance!

I have the Touring tech package, not the Grand Touring. However, the touring tech package works very well, so I would think the same for the Grand Touring and wouldn't expect anything to be gimmicky or annoying (if that makes any sense). Everything is great and practical. The Smart City Brake system actually saved me from a collision. I've never had an accident in my life, but just happened to turn my head at the wrong time at night merging on the freeway when the merging lane came to a very quick stop. It stopped me within a foot of the car in front of me, but was very impressive. The auto headlights, auto windshield wipers, dimming mirrors and blind spot monitoring work like a champ.

So with that, I could see the lane departure warning, radar cruise control and MPG gain with the IE-loop and grill shutters being very nice if you drive long distances regularly. If its going to be strictly a city work commuter, then maybe its not worth it.
