The CAI dilemma is that you want to improve the intake airflow while at the same time not screw up what the ECU sees too badly.I think you can spare yourself a lot of grief by treating the CAI, MAF, and IAT as one subsystem at time of initial purchase.
That way you can just "plug and play", and not have to worry about stalling out on the low rev. spectrum, CELs coming on etc.
Resetting the ECU to clear the CEL is a snap if you just turn on the interior courtesy light. It provides the current path to ground to easily discharge the capacitors in the car's electronics in a few seconds, so no half- hour waiting for nature to take its course.
