Depends on ur defenition of faster. I'm in the process of upgrading my suspension components, and have installed a CAI (not that big a deal, but it helped with responsiveness and smoothed out the powerband some, which is what i was after). I race in SCCA soloII events so out and out power won't make me much faster, in fact I'll wipe the floor with a car setup for big straight-line power, but not handling. Now, if you're talking about out and out power, and straight line ability, there are a few guys on the mazda6club forum that have done custom turbo installs. But when it's all said and done, this is a 6, a heavy FWD sedan, not an RX-7, STi, Evo, or something like that. I figure accentuate the things this car does well (ie. handles beautifuly) and save the big power adders for another car.
