Bose Stereo - CD player Crackle and Fuzz Mystery
Hey guys, new to the forum and I have what I hope is a simple question.
I've got an '04 Mazda 6 that has the Bose 6 CD changer. The driver side door speaker and tweeter make popping and fuzzing noises when playing CDs. ONLY when playing CDs and it seems to be only the one speaker and tweeter. The radio works fine AM and FM, no distortion. It seems to be a loose connection because I only hear distortion or popping when going through a sharp turn or hitting bumps.
I doubt that the problem would be the wiring to the speaker (because I would get noise when listening to any input source such as the radio). My question is:
1. Are there any cabled connections between the CD player and the Bose amp/receiver that might be loose? (Something affecting only the CD output but not radio)
2. Has anyone encountered this issue?
Any help is appreciated, I'm getting ready to start taking it apart and troubleshooting this weekend.
