Brake Upgrade
I'm looking into doing a brake upgrade on my 2006 M6 3.0 ltre V6.
Is there anything available from Mazda, is there a difference between the Mazda Speed brakes and the regular Mazda 6 brakes?
What do you guys recomend?
Thanks in Advance.

$850 plus shipping is what i'm looking for. As soon as get my car back they kit is coming off and will be sitting in the garage, so figured someone might want it.
not saying a BBK is what everyone needs, but if anyone is interested, it's a good deal.

RE: Brake Upgrade
I'm not trying to blow a sale for the member with a BBK for sale, but without knowing what you're doing with your car or what braking problems you're having its hard to do more than make some general suggestions.
Before you start throwing serious money around, what isn't your current brake system doing that has you convinced you need bigger brakes?
Simple enhancements to the stock system can sometimes make all the difference in braking performance.
Better pads, fluid, braided steel lines are all things that will improve the braking of your car without breaking the bank. If you NEED new rotors you could consider slotted ones but those in themselves won't give you any noticable braking improvement.
If you're having fading issues from hard use, ducting some air to the front brakes will also help as fade is either caused by boiling fluid or overheating the pads, in either case getting some cooler air to them will help.

i don't think he ever said he needed to upgrade....just that he wanted to.
given this car, it's hard to imagine NEEDING an upgrade of any kind, though many want a different feel in the pedal or a bit more performance/consistancy. but the post is also 3 months old, so i would guess decisions have been made anyhow by now
