Default Button on panel by fuse box

I havea push button(metal) right above my fuse box inside my MAZDA6 anyone know what that is?

Probably feel real stupid once someone tells me but just lay it on me easy.

Never seen that before. Does it look like it is aftermarket? Do you have an aftermarket alarm on the car? I am taking a shot in the dark, nut I woul probably say a valet switch for an aftermarket alarm. If you can take some pics of the switch & post them, that would be great.
