I have had the AEM,the INJEN,and now the MAZDASPEED and have honestly had the best luck with the MAZDASPEED especially now that it has been changed to a Green warranty Item that is covered through the dealership. and NO,I assure you it is NOT made by AEM. One of my friends works for Mazda North American Operations and put me dirrectly with the head of Mazdaspeed engineering and accessories at SEMA who I talked to at length about it before I bought mine!

Whether the mazdaspeed intake is made by aem or not doesnt matter. they use the exact same design as aem and it WILL throw a cel. The aem/mazdaspeed intake also doesnt really produce much of any gains at all. with the cp-e you wont get a cel and you will get much better hp gains.

Actually, the AEM throws the CEL and the Mazdaspeed has not thrown one at all as of yet on anyone I know and I know a hell of a lot of people that own it. They are NOT made the same and are tested under different circumstances. The Cp-e is ALSO good, but truly not much netter other than the fact that it adjusts the maf better which is truly the ONLY reason it produces any more power gains. If you adjust the Maf you will always have more power gains no matter what intake you use!

the cp-e's diameter is thicker than the aem so there is more airflow. i will slap you if u get the aem.
