That's great, but my Air Straightener suggestion is now 0 for 2!
one of these days i'm sure that thing will work. I'm glad you figured it out, putting a new airbox on is just ridiculous!

The funny thing about that disconnected hose, is that I knew about it....it's been like that for at least two years and hadn't thrown any codes so I didn't pay it any mind. In fact, the small nipple that it attaches to was broken off.

that sounds like the one at front of airbox, closest to rad area.
That hose connection actually goes thru the air box and comes out again by the tuba area and it controls the vaccuum for the flapper for the intake on back side by fender. The hose is actually connected to green solenoid (vac lines and elect plug). You could by-pass that connection @ front and extend it directly to solenoid.
When we put aftermarket CAI on, we actually plug that line.

The 2nd pic shows line plugged in front of white piece which is above rad hose. Currently i have that line removed and plugged right @ intake plenum (last pic, red lettering).
