Im planning on getting the cp-e. How hard was it? What all did you have to do?

Well it wasn't that hard once you look through everything. But just manuevering through the tight spots was such a pain. You basically take the whole stock airbox out and just put the new cp-e pipe in. Some pieces you have to reuse from the stock airbox. And for the ecu, it is very easy. The only trouble I had was getting the connectors out and back in. Oh, and it comes with a detailed instructions with pictures!

i say installing HID's was a pretty PITA but the results are phenominal. i could probably do it w/ my eyes closed now. [8D]jk.

as for CAI's, i agree and say if you have the 6s then try to save upfor a CP-ebecause its well worth gettingit. but if not, i say Fujita, thenAEM, thenInjen. Fujita hasn't thrown a CEL. AEM is known to throw some CEL'sits kindarare and it does happen sometimes. more so on a MTX then a ATX. if it throws a CEL you'll just have to get a scanner to see if it's anything serious or if it just the CAI. if its just the CAI and nothing major... a simple unplug of the neg on the battery will reset it.

of course if you have 2.3L 6i then CP-e is not worth the money unless you have money to burn (not like most of us). otherwise same applies, Fujita or AEM. Injen is cool for the fact that you can change it to short ram or CAI but i dont know the CEL status of it. anyone care to throw their $.02 is welcome.

Um, I don't remember how long exactly. I am going to take a guesstimate and say it was around 2 ish hours just because I did not understand some of the directions and what not. And some things were a PITA to complete. I say that wiring the ecu was the easiest part.
