I will say this; Ideally for the 6i you would really want the 6i sedan springs for the front and the hatch set for the rear. However, seeing as this is not an offered package from Mazda, and this will force you to buy 2 sets, that is not likely to happen. Fortunately the hatch set will work for you just fine, it's just not completely ideal.

well you should transform your wife into a car chick...after all we are rare and no I'm not gonna buy two sets like you said cameron. the reason I want the hatch set is because you said how it lowers the car evenly, which looks so much better...unless it's a muscle car, like a '67 Nova SS

And I personally prefer the '66 ChevyII/Nova to the '67. I like the slightly softer looking (less pronounced) headlight doors.

My brother (older) had a 240Z that I got to drive once in a while. I liked it, except for the short & close 1-2 gear shift. That was hard to get right. And that you could not see where the hood ended.
If you've ever wondered why all 240/260/280 Datsuns had a pushed in front bumper, wonder no more.
There are a lot of sexy and powerful cars out there. May I suggest one of you start a thread based on that subject, perhaps in Off-Topic?

My father had a 240Z before he met my mother. I think he wrecked that one. He had a 68 Cougar too. His girlfriend at the time seized the motor.
