Default dif. rims & snow tires from Camry???

Mazda6 2004, putting steel rims & snow tires on car. Tirerack says 205/60 R16 & guy is selling me 205/65 R16 from a Toyota Camry. According to one website the bolt pattern is the same, but I need to verify. Any tips out there? Any ideas as to whether the 60 vs 65 will be ok? Any tips on how to verify the rims and tires will fit ok other than just trying it??

First question: Are you sure that the Camry set is 205/65 R16 and not R15? I ask because most Camrys of the same vintage as your M6 used 15" wheels.

Next, if in fact you are looking at a 16" set, be advised of the following:
[ul][*]205/65 R16 tires will be a tad taller than your tires and as such, they will introduce a small speedometer error when mounted on your car. Said another way, you'll be going a bit faster than what your speedometer indicates.[*]Per TireRack, the 16" wheels used on Camrys have a 40mm offset with a 5.59" backspacing, however, the 16" wheels for the M6 use a 50mm offset with a 6.02" backspacing. You may find that the small difference between the two will mean that the Camry wheels will clash with your brake calipers, or at least, clash with your brake calipers IF you have new pads on them.[/ul]
