Success DIY regeneration and removal
Hello
Been a while since my first post, as i had about 18 months of trouble free driving.
while i have been searching the net i found this that shows you how to trick your mazda in to doing a regeneration which costs around £80 with mazda
Cheat Sheet - DPF Regen on MAZDA 6 MZR-CD 2.0LTR and 2.2 LTR Diesel 2007 - 10 Chip Tuning Australia
But since then i have had my DPF removed
The company took my dfp off cut it open removed the insides and welded it back up and remapped my my ecu.
cost around £380
passed MOT with better emissions
now running 173 bhp
and getting nearly an extra 100 miles to a tank depending on driving habit so trip reads about 650miles to a tank
so well worth getting it removed and cant thank the garage enough.
best of luck to evey one else
