Easy mods for 2004 Mazda 6?

RE: Easy mods for 2004 Mazda 6?
It's the outside clearance, i have more room on the inside, and i could run more offset if i rolled the fenders, but without modification and all there isn't much room for more offset. I'm also going on sight here, I may be able to get more in there than i think i can, but to me it looks like they are as far to the outside as i can get before i need to roll the fenders. As for tire size, I'm running 225/45 R17 Falken Azenis, which seem to have more clearance than the RE10-R's I ran previously did. And as for clearance improving when lowered, I don't know Springs and stuts are next on my list of parts to get, so I'll find out about that when i get the money to have those installed.

Removing the Silencer/resonater and the flapper. this will open up a large hole in the bottom of the airbox and provide better airflow. It's makes for something of a poor man's CAIresults are even better i hear if you run some ducting down from the hole to the lower grill area as it will supply the intake with cooler air. http://www.dreamhaven.org/~data/m6airboxmod/ there is a link to the instructions.

Or if you don"t want to go that route, or if you live and drive in a very rainy climate, this one is also possible:

Of course that"s my 3 in the pictures, but you get the idea. I called it the Poor Man"s SRI (Short Ram Intake.)
