You can go to your local auto parts store and buy a r134 recharge kit that comes with the fill hose and a gauge. There are instructions with the kit, but if you don't know what your doing take it to a mechanic. You can cause damage by over charging the system. A/C systems are sealed systems so if it turns out you are low on freon you might have a leak that needs to be fixed before the system is recharged. Does your compressor cycle? Is the A/C cooling at all? If the system is out of freon your compressor will not cycle.

Neither the compressor nor the freon is the cause if you simply have no airflow at all. Those would not impede the airflow; they would simply make the air not cold.

If the car uses a cabin filter check that. Also check the vacuum lines/hoses. Check the flow control valve and make sure it's not stuck.

Agreed, Combat Medic didn't state there was an airflow problem in his original post!
He asked about Freon and where to add it!

how do i check the flow control valve? Possibly a blower fan not working? If the blower motor isnt functioning how hard is this to replace?

ok i checked that filter inside the glove box and ya it was dirty but not to the pount i think it would cause problems. Cleaned it up and put it back in there. I read the blower motor was back there too and i couldnt hear anything coming from there when i messed with the controls.
