Front End Noise...Brakes?

You're right, the fronts compress normally and the rears rotate in. It was awhile ago that I did the brakes on my wife's car. I just double checked the factory manual.

It WAS worn front pads...the noise was the wear indicators. New pads are on the car, and the problem is solved. Woo hoo!
