HELP - Buying a 2006 Wagon Toronto
I am looking at buying a 2006 Mazda 6 Wagon GS with GFX Package with 0km in Toronto Canada. The list is $30,695 right now with $4500 cash back. The Freight, PDI and Gas Tax is waived. So the car is 26,195 + tax.
I have been doing lots of research about the car and overall looks good. The only thing that worries me at this point is the Duratec engine. In short should I be worried about reliability and gas milleage?
My wife commutes to work approx 60km per dayand we travel heavely in the summer to the cottage (that's why we need a wagon) and is a very reasonable driver. Our current car is 2002 VW Jetta 4cyl. that gets good milleage so I'm sure we'll see a decrease.
Any comments or suggestions are appricated.
Thanks everyone.

Just to remind you that the US gallon is only about 4 litres while the Canadian gallon is about 4.54 litre. So the mpg of the same car will be higher in the Great White North.
