Help: Small tweaking to my Mazda 6s
#11
Miles: 53,000
This is my plan:
Exhaust Magnaflow is my favorite, and I love mine, though it takes some slight modification to make it fit perfectly.
Cold Air Intake CPe MAFci that I linked you to is the best one for us, after that I'd go with AEM as I'm a fan of their dryflow filters
Turbo? ATM a kit for the V6 does not exist, but supposedly there is one in development, but I wouldn't hold my breath if I were you. There is however an SC solution in the final stages of testing.
Lowering Kit Mazdaspeed hatch springs are my favorite, short of a full on Coilover kit, also don't forget the shocks as well if you want to get any real advantage out of this mod.
Sway Bars w/ it? Get rid of that questionmark sir!
Paint Job
Rims
Car Kit
In order if I can.

As I said, get that intake first, it'll add way more power than the exhaust will, and honestly with the stock headders on the best you can really hope for from and aftermarket exhaust is around 5hp, and that's being pretty optimistic. From there, if you're more about looks get the springs, if you are more about performance, get the swaybars. Those should get you started. The best advise I can give you though, is to do your homework, look through several forums for technical information and start teaching yourself about some of this stuff. I have no problems answering questions and helping out, but I'm not going to spoon feed it to you. There is a club and a crew out there for our car and in both of them you will find good information, between the 3 sites, you should have a pretty good base of information to pull from.
That being said, there are some free things you can do to the car in terms of apearance. First, those "door guards" that are placed way too low to really do you much good are simply help on by adhesive and come off pretty easily with some fishing line or a credit card and a hairdryer. Second, a good portion of the badges are the same as the door guards and come off so that you can either de-badge or so that you can change their color. Third there is also the airbox mod, search this one, it's been posted multiple times and I really don't want to post it again. Anything more than that requires a certain level of technical proficiency.
