Help! Vibrating Issues!

Help! Vibrating Issues!
Well guys, I am baffled by this one. Hoping you all can help me out. My car in the morning lately (since it has been colder, but it could have just started) vibrates for the few maybe 5 minutes. It feels like it comes from the front. I have brand new tires that are only about 8,000 miles old and I had a front alignment done, weight balancing...all that jazz. They are the Avon Tech Mechs II. Rated very high. So it almost feels like they have a flat spot, but since they are so new I kind of dont think it would be that. Could it be the front end? I am baffled. Just wanted some idea before I brought it in. Also, when I am driving (this just started yesterday) when I stop while the car is still in drive and it is idling after maybe 10 seconds it starts to vibrate, when you give it gas and start to go it stops idling, or if you put it in neutral and rev it, it stops. So this has me worried. So what does everyone think? Please please give me all thoughts and insights on my problem! I appreciate all of the help!
So:
Idles in the morning when it is cold.
Idles when it is stopped in gear.
Thanks for all of your help!
Brandon!

RE: Help! Vibrating Issues!
have you spun the tires on the asphalt when it was wet outside. depending on your type of tire, that can easily but a flatened area on the tire? tire balancing could of been done wrong as well.

I have not spun the tires, and it only does it when it is first driven at the beginning of the day... Even if it is cold at the end of the day as long as I have used it once, it is fine..

RE: Help! Vibrating Issues!
I'd run some dry gas through the system (ethyl alcohol), water in the fuel can cause some really wierd symptoms. It may not have anything to do with it, but it doesn't hurt to check that off the list.
If you had a flat spot on the tire it would always want to shake.
Are you saying if you try to rev it in neutral, that the engine stalls or that the shaking stops?
You could try the injectors next (drippy?)

Hey Mr Spike.
I have a similar problem to yours.
My car too vibrates when it is in Drive (1st gear), stopped at the lights. When I put it in Neutral (N) and give it a litle bit of gas, the vibration dissapears...
I also get lots of vibration from the A/C unit when the compressor comes on...

sstlaure...It stops vibrating when I give it gas. I am almost positive the tires dont have any flat spots. I will pick up some dry-gas as soon as I need to fill up again. Someone mentioned that it could be the motor mounts, but I seem to think with it only being a 2005 that makes me think it is kind of hard. The vibrations worry me also when I first start driving...All senses tell me it is the tires, but like I said they are brand new, well only 7,000 miles old. Could the front end stop vibrating after the car is warm?

RE: Help! Vibrating Issues!
I was sick today so I didn't drive it at all in the morning. I took it out to get some dry gas and it did not vibrate at all. It was 60 degrees out. Tonight when I took it out again just now and it was 45 degrees out it vibrated. So this tells me it only vibrates when it is cold for the first few minutes.
ssstlaure it does vibrate when I am not moving and idling. I think it is a seperate problem from the vibrating when it is cold. Because this does it when it is cold and warm and the vibrating when it is cold has been happengin for a few weeks, and this vibrating when it is idle has just started a few days ago. I made an appt. to drop it off thursday night so they can drive it friday morning. I still want to know what it is before I go in there so I have an idea. Just worries me. Thanks for all of your help. I am completely baffled...

sstlaure...So I figure it out I think...Look at this. I did extensive research and everything seemed good...But read this.
"The prior online ratings led me to buy these tires. What a mistake. The problem is when these tires are cold (when you first start out), there is a wobble, forcing the steering wheel to shake; steering wheel shakes for the first 20 mins or so. After they warm up, the problem seems to go away. But the tires are not as quiet as I expected from others ratings and steering confidence is not as good"
and
"I had these tires for a couple of weeks and returned. I read all the responses before making a selection and was disappointed with these to say the least. Sidewalls are extremely soft and ride on highway is unbearable due to flat spots from sitting overnight. Upgraded to Yokohama A/S which are much better."
and
"If you drive exclusively in dry, warm weather, then this tire is probably for you. But if , like many of us, you also have to drive in rain, cold and snow, then do not buy this tire. When the temperature drops below 45, it becomes so stiff that driving across railroad tracks is like riding in an Conastoga wagon."
So this upsets me. This also worries me. I spent about 500 on these from town fair. I cant afford to get new ones yet since these only have 7,000 miles on them. The tread ware has been fine and temperatures about 45 degrees they are fine. Below they just seem to get flat spots. Now the question is. This vibrating for the first 10 minutes or so, will this harm anything on the car, or should I just keep them and live them out? What do I do? I just dont want to harm anything.
Also, now that I know what that is, I still need to figure out what the vibrating is when I am idling and in gear. Thanks for your help!
