Assuming you got the original owners manual when you bought the car, go through the maintenance servies through 64k and try to have the facts on all of the items on those lists.
A dealer will try to weasel out of warranty services any way, or charge you for any additional parts they they think they might get away with it whether it casused the original problem or not, such as: Air and fuel filters; spark plugs; evaporative system parts, like the infamous "purge" valve (around $180 for a plastic check valve alone,) O2 sensors, and the rear one is heated to the tune of around $275.
I'm just saying that the more informed you are, the more information and documentation you have at your disposal, the less likely you are to get taken.
