Default Lotek Gaugepod w/ gauges

well, i went ahead last week and ordered a Lotek Gaugepod (holds 3 gauges) for my baby! can't wait to put them in and working correctly. i didn't want to go and use my side pillars because that would involve me replacing my passenger side as well because it is colored like a light greyish color. didn't want that too look off and all. so i kinda went the cheaper way, but i think my dash needed the pods because it was rather boring and i think it is unique. when i get the gauges all up and such, or even just put in the gaugepod, i will slap some pictures on this forum to show everyone.

Gauges Purchased:

Glow Shift Tinted 7 Color Series: Air/Fuel, Oil Pressure, Oil Temp, and Voltage.

ordered the voltage one, but will hold off on installing until i find a custom area to put it.

I like that much better than A-pillar guages, it looks more OEM because the 350Z has 3 guages on center dash I like how they're slanted towards the driver just like the Z-car too. Looks very good awesome find.

may ask where you found that gauge pod at and what gauges would you put in there (i mean the purpose of the gauges) cuz dont you usually add extra gauges for like turbos and NOS and stuff (i'm assuming you dont have those upgrades)...just curious

common added guages are

voltage (operation of alternator)
oil pressure
oil temperature
water temperature
tire pressure
G-meter (for lateral Gs)

If you have side curtain air bags, make sure you don't put any gauges or other things on the A-pillars. Any side impact will pop the air bags and whatever you have installed will hit you in the face.

i don't have any turbo/supercharger/boost upgrades yet. have to wait for my warranty to expire in a few years since i got an extended warranty. for now, these gauges will be a great substitute and i definitely agree with it looking rather OEM.

i got the pod from www.gaugepods.com and the gauges from www.glowshift.com.

if you buy from glowshift, enter coupon code GS06 because you will get 10% off. they sent me a card in the delivery package. take whatever you can get, that's my saying for these savings.
