I think that in regards to this stuff,it will pretty much be the same thing though regardless of engine. I do know that everyone in my local chapter of mazda6club all have the 6s and most of them all have the MAF cp-e mods on them.

as a general rule, MANY more people mod the 6s as most get the 6i for economy, so not as many are worried about mods. if you have any other questions on mods, let me know. i've done every mod feasable for the most part on the 2.3 and my roommate on the V6 (in regards to performance).

Like I said,I haven't much modded my 6s,but I have done alot to my 6i and my friends from 6club have all modded there 6s's so if it can be done, someone here knows someone that has done it!!!
My choice didn't have to do with MONEY however,I just saw more opportunities with the 6i overall for mods. There's not alot of room under the hood of the 6s to play with and the 6i already had options for aftermarket turbos available (as Mr Tea can verify)

no clips with the turbo, but the car sounds damn mean even without it....so we'll see how things have changed since then. he still hasn't gotten his car back from the install. neither of us have had our cars for, him just over 3 months, myself just over 4 months now, due to large projects on them. i'm guessing we will both be at MazdaHQ for the tech show if we have them in hand.

I will really try to make it to the show at Mazda HQ and hopefully get to check them out! Just don't give me too much **** since my car is so much slower! It looks fast, but I really did build it for show and for Car Audio.

The Only competition I usually beat MOST 6's in is Car Audio. Either spl, qulaity, design,or some combination of those.
I will never win a race against another 6! Especially with all the added weight of the the Audio/Video equipment!...lol
