Default MAF Sensor 2006 Mazda 6 3.0 DOHC

I recently tried cleaning out my old MAF Sensor, but after doing so it ran worse. I then replaced it, and immediately the engine light shut off. *** I drove the car, it continued to surge, and hesitate in low idol. After driving the car for around 24 miles, it started to clear up, but it still had hesitation. I parked the car, put it into drive and reverse a few times and turned it off and on a few times. I took it for another stroll and appeared to drive normal.

Is this normal or what?

Mileage?
Change your air filter, clean your throttle body.
Proper way to clean throttle body without side effects:
Rough Idling Issues |*MotorWeek
make sure you watch video, yes it's a Mazda!

Check for cracks in your intake tube between throttle body and air cleaner, may cause vaccuum air leaks causing hesitation.

Also, If you haven't changed your PCV valve, do it! Mazda never does it!
Put in a fuel system cleaner, like Redline: Red Line Synthetic Oil - Gasoline Fuel Additives - SI-1 Complete Fuel System Cleaner

I replaced the air filter previously yesterday, and taped up the cracked hose going to the air filter housing. I haven't replaced the Pcv valve yet and I'll look at that video you suggested. Any suggestions on a particular video?

I had the same problem.
The hose between the throttle body and intake cracked underneath.
Duct tape fixed untill replacement part came in.
