Hi, looking for help. Last week I bought 2003 mazda 6 4 cylinders with 50k miles. Yesterday transmission has died. In the begining it wasnt shifting properly and then it was gone put on drive and car wasnt moving. Maybe somebody had a similar problem and can share the experience

What was the fluid in the tranny like? I know too many people that never check the fluid level (begins to show itself as poor shifting performance, but ends up toasting the tranny due to overheating the fluid) and that also never change the fluid (loses it's ability to provide lubrication over time/mileage.)

Any history on the vehicle? Did it come from a gulf coast state (i.e. maybe went through a flood/hurricane.) Salvage or clean title? Carfax?

Ive went threw an engine,2 trannys,a radiator ,a coma control cable(shift cable),and im on my third clutch with my 03 6i.I argued with the dealer a lot and got most of it taken care of free.I was told when I bought my car that if I were to sell it the 100k 10yr warranty would roll over to the new owner.
