Default Mazda All Weather Mats

Does anyone have the OEM All Weather Mats from Mazda? Are they rubber? The salesman wasn't sure so I didn't buy them when I purchased the car. Said he'd have to order them too @ $65. I found them online @ Trussville for $50.70!
Got Wal-Mart mats in the car now, would like to upgrade.

What is the purpose/advantages of the all season mats? I use the regular carpet floor mats and have no problems with them.

Bcause if you live somewhere that it rains you wont ruin your carpets. All you have to do is take them out and hose them off and they are good. The carpet ones you have to clean them and scrub them and they will ruin much faster. The all weather mats are a much better deal.

plus the salt and water can still get through on the carpet ones and stain the carpet...so the rubber ones are a lot nice...

Got them with the car, they lasted about 6 months before the driver's mat wore a hole thru it where your left heel rests. They look nice but it seems the new ones (made in the last year or so) are crap quality. I've talked to people who bought theirs several years ago and they're still in great shape while at least 3 other people I've heard of with mats bought in the last year or so have the same issues. Mazda will do nothing about it either.

My suggestion is to buy the WeatherTite floor mats made by Lloyds Mats. You can find them here. They're also lifetime warrantied, which the Mazda mats are not.
