Very nice , they are , aren't they !? I have an exact black one .... and if I could I would buy a couple more to last me till retirement cause I don't think they will make another sexy car like this one ; already they just could'nt improve on the '03-'05 looks with the 2006 Mazda 6 's revisions ; thet just managed to mess up a perfectly sharp looking zoomer . IMVSO
Just in the title , they made a mistake . It's not a SPORT (hatchback) , but a Sedan .... IMO the Sedan being better . Look at the rear doors . They don't have the additional flimsy tacky add-on rounded plastic next to the small triangular window . The Sedan's is cut straight-lined with the door-window edge for a sharper finish , add to that the chromed headlight bezels compared to the darkened ones on the Sport .... the Sedan's third brake LED light integrated in the rear spoiler instead of a regular joe brake light integrated in the trunk lid ........ the Sedan has more rear headroom ..... and the Sport (hatckback) well more cargo room ; but if I need to carry a desk ; I'll borrow my friend's pick-up truck ..... if I ever do that ..... and I'll have a stiffer , rattle-free rear end for years to come .... can't say that for a Hatch as we all know ......
Today I went and bought a new 20inch bicycle for my son and fitted it no problem in the trunk and never had to open more than the smaller passenger side of the rear folding seats to let out only a small edge of the rear tire (as it would require the other side to be open to let the entire tire through) and the handle bars cleared entirely the inside of the trunk - closed ! The trunk floor is very shallow due to its newly designed rear suspension that allows for a more cavernous trunk compared to the competition . Add to that the express seat realease handles inside the trunk that allow you to load one-shot from the trunk instead of reaching in to the seat rests .
As far as the warranty , I'm pretty sure but would ask a Mazda delaler to be doubt free .

Well thank you for the response. I'm in canada so trying to balance out whether buying one here in calgary over weighs buying one from down there. Well i went to the dealership here today and was quoted $33,000 for everything like the one on ebay. I'm really at a loss...i know i have to import which also costs money but i dont know what it is but the one on ebay looks so clean 10 tirmes better then the showroom cars here...lol...
Is there a way i can check recalls online?
I asked mazda today to do a recal and warrentee check they said they would need the car and privacy laws permit i have registration...blah blah blah
If anyone works for mazda on here ...here's the VIN 1YVHP80D255M11212
Yes the car is great looking but im not one to judge a book by its cover as my 2001 civic (which was brand new at the time) was a total nightmare. Everything that could have gone wrong with that car did go wrong!!!
So whats the bad parts about this car? I keep reading engine ticking threads..engine failures? Wouldn't that just be variable timing?
Anyways i think i have one more question...lol...
I own a seadoo and would like a car to tow it...its only 800lbs with trailer...does anyone make a hitch for these cars? (most important) he he he
Thank you for all youre help guys!!! Takecare!!!

RE: Mazda Options and alittle knowledge
no daytime running lights here..........but they quoted u $33,000 down here in the states for an 05' with 12,000 miles on it. Im not sure of what the price should be but i just bought an 04' 6s with everything in it but leather and the bose system with 13,123 miles on it pulling it out of the lot for $16,900..........car is mint(except a tiny burn in the rear seat the size of 2 seseme seeds put together side by side)...........i actually never looked at what the car was worth, but if they quoted u $33k for the same car a year younger with 1000 less miles on it i think i made out pretty freakin good.
